Sunday saw Diving Adventures Scotland delivering Scuba Diving dreams.
Meet Izabela. Now here is a girl with big dreams. Later this month, Izabela will be traveling to Iceland to dive the wonderful Silfra. For those of you who are not familiar with Silfra, it’s a rift formed in the tectonic plates between the North American and Eurasion continental plates. This is the only place in the world where you can Scuba Dive and touch two continents at the same time.
It’s cold though.
This is why Izabela contacted us. Your going to need a Dry Suit to brave the crisp clear waters of Silfra. Ian our MSDT Instructor took Izabela under his wing for the PADI Dry Suit Speciality Course. Ian conducted an Orientation course in the pool before heading to the Open water for the two dry suit dives. Isabela will now be heading to Silfra as a qualified Dry Suit Diver after successfully completing the course. Well done Izabela, we look forward to your trip report. A huge thanks to Ian for volunteering his time and making dreams achievable.
