Today’s Pool Session focus
You will need to complete a 200m continuous surface swim then tread water to deep to stand without swim aids for 10 minutes in our pool. We then start our Scuba Diving Adventure by completing confined water dives 1-3.
Dive 1 – You will learn all about the equipment we use to go Scuba such as Equipment Preparation – Kit Entry – Pre Dive Safety Checks – Intro to breathing underwater – Regulator Skills – Mask Skills – Hand Signals (we can talk underwater) – Equalization of air spaces and proper descents/ascents and a few others skills
Dive 2 – We build on the skills learned in dive 1. You will also learn snorkel/regulator skills on the waters surface. We introduce some dive flexible skills (disconnecting inflator hose – loose cylinder band)
Dive 3 – We build on skills from dives 1&2 therefore adding important skills that every Scuba Diver needs in their repository.
Dive 4 & 5 take place the following Saturday after remediating Dive 3. Same time same place. The 4 Open Water dives take place the weekend after.
